Unlike many other retail outlets, Mondo Aquatics can ship your merchandise for same or next day arrival via SouthWest Airlines, and overnight or 2-day delivery via
FedEx and the U.S. Postal Office.
What are the Advantages to this Service?
The obvious advantage is that you get better, healthier, and often larger fish for your money. Most fish houses are staffed by employees who don't really care which fish you get. It's their job to fill orders and empty the tanks. We don't leave this decision in the hands of unexperienced, uncaring, inept workers. We personally pick out your fish. We make the decision, on the spot, as to which size fish will be best for the money you are paying. No runts; No questionable colors; No mysteries - Just Healthy Fish!One of the top reasons fish succumb to poor health is due to high stress levels. Moving fish from tank to tank causes stress. When you purchase a fish in your local shop, that fish has usually been acclimated to the shop's tank. Before that, the fish was acclimated to a distributor's tank and an importers' or trans-shippers' tank and an exporter's tank and the original collectors' tank. Add to that all the frequent flier miles the fish could have collected when being shipped from place to place. While we cannot skip many of these acclimations, we can at least skip one! In some cases, we're able to get our fish directly from the original collector and skip most of the above steps!

When you go to your local shop or order from another online source, do you really know all you should about the products you receive? For instance, if you buy chemicals for your reef or planted tank, do you know how long the bottles have been sitting on the shelves in the store or in a distributor's overheated warehouse before the store purchased them? When we personally shop for you, we pick the bottles directly from the warehouse. We look for the boxes and fresh stock! We get you products that will last, not expire or turn bad!
