| Description | With its distinctive white body with large black spots, the Panther Grouper is not only one of the most popular groupers in saltwater aquaria, but one of the most popular fish. Like all other groupers, the Panther is a predator which may swallow other fish whole. Panther Groupers prefer to lurk in a corner of the aquarium and wait for prey. Aquarists must be careful not to overfeed at the risk of degrading water quality. Water changes must be done more often for predator tanks. |
